Woody's Movie Review 15

Well here we go again.

I will strongly recommend "Cloverfield". It definitely gets 5 penguins. It is shot with a handheld camera and because of that can be disorienting (like "Blair Witch; 1 penguin), but it is worth it. A group of friends are at a party when all hell breaks loose in NYC (it couldn't happen to a better city) everyone is running and screaming. And then you get a glimpse of the thing responsible. Ohh it's good but I won't spoil it.

Because of how much I liked the last movie I recently saw "Quarantine". This was also shot with a handheld camera however not as good. A film crew in L.A. follows a group of fireman for a night. They get a call and then inexplicably get sealed in the apartment building they responded to. It is a lot of blood and not much story. I expected more 2 penguins.

I also saw "Lakeview Terrace" starring Patrick Wilson and Samuel L. Jackson. It was a good story as Wilson and his wife move into Jackson's neighborhood, only Jackson doesn't approve of their mixed marriage. He then takes matters into his own hands. 3 penguins.
