There is a town in New Zealand that is having a hard time with unruly kids at their outdoor mall. Now these kids are allegedly drinking, spreading garbage, spraying graffiti and harassing customers. It has gotten so bad that the mall has called in reinforcements. Did they call the cops? No. The military? No. The Girl Scouts? No, but you're getting warm. They have decided to repel these kids from their mall by using a strong tactic. Barry Manilow! That's right the man who made the whole world sing will now try to make the teenagers run away. The mall has decided to play Barry Manilow songs in hopes the kids will just go away. One 16 year old said that's OK cause they will just bring their own music and play it LOUD. The owners said they would then hit the kids with noise ordinance violations. I think if Barry doesn't work out maybe they could try the Spice Girls or some good Polka music. I know I wouldn't shop there anymore.
