Congrats go out to the winners and the banquet date(s) have yet to be confirmed. It was a great season and our league profit margin was a robust 78%. We have not yet decided on the location for the summer meetings but I have narrowed it down to 5 possibilities:
1) Honolulu, Hawaii
2) Wall, South Dakota
3) Farmington, New Mexico
4) Atlantic City, New Jersey
5) Lost Springs, Wyoming
We haven't gotten proposals from all the candidate cities yet so a decision is pending. The topics for discussion include;
Changing the division names to be more unique and reflective of the geographic areas. Some possibilities include the Keystone Division and the Sunshine Division; The Amish Paradise Division and The Gang Related Violence Division; The Four Seasons Division and The 20 Pound Mosquito Division; The Mountaintop Division and The How Did Sand Get In My Underwear Division.
Accepting or rejecting the application for removal from the league by Cassie. She hates to do it but feels we may not be able to contact her when the next season rolls around.
Deciding if we want to expand or not.
Determining the official products of our league. As the commissioner I have decided the Official drink of the YPEL will be Turkey Hill Green Tea.
Discussing a new format for our weekly picks.
Coming up with names for your individual teams. I think they should reflect alliances with your NFL team. I have chosen to be the Lancaster Ambush (a group of tigers is called an ambush).
Accepting the move of Bruce's team from Lancaster to Lititz and construction of their new stadium. Naming rights to be determined.
So think about these topics and be ready to discuss them at length each day from 1:00 to 1:30. I want to leave the rest of the daily schedule open for sightseeing as we will only be there for a week. Let's face it you can't see these cities in one day especially if we are in Lost Springs.

ReplyDeleteUmmm.. Kassee not being around.. I don't understand.. she'll be around FOREVER! Oh..and something else for the agenda.. Momma is thinking about joining. Please let her know what forms she should fill out! Do we want to see if the Roscoe's in the North Cackalacka division want to join? By the way.. what about Dundalk and Seagrit.. surprised you left out these beautiful spots for our summer meeting!
