Tonight I have come up with 2 count em' 2 new words (even though 1 is technically a phrase).
First we have "Kleenex turn"; defined as that moment in a movie, T.V. show or everyday life when people would start the water works. Example "I was watching Old Yeller last night, boy did it take a Kleenex turn."
Second we have "Amisharazzi"; defined as anyone who sneaks around to get a picture of the Amish without them knowing. Example "I was over at Root's last week, man the Amisharazzi were everywhere."
So start using these words today and don't forget, I get the credit!

gee new vocab! I think it may be quite impossible for me to work Amisharazzi into my everyday vocab here - but I will keep it in mind once I return to the states.... and Kleenex turn - well,I may be able to use that one - though I am typically unaware of what makes someone cry at a movie - its fake!! But I am glad to see you are using your time wisely to expand not only your own but others vocab as well - way to go :)
ReplyDeleteHey and don't forget skosh! You know you made that one up too. Just kidding.
ReplyDeleteChristine, I totally am not faking when I cry at movies. It's definitely real and I can't help it!
Love the Amisharazzi term. However my sentence would have been "Man I want to shoot the Amisharazzi.. when they slow down to a snails crawl to get a picture" ha ha!
ReplyDeleteOh and I too cry at movies.. however I believe that since my bro didn't get in the "tear duct" line... They pushed me in to get two sets.. I mean gosh I cry at commercials.. maybe I need to go play paint ball!!
